The finish line is starting to come into view and we're not letting up.

⚙️ Technology: Closing the Gaps

This week we focused on pushing the technical side forward. Working in the lab, the team tackled the remaining open items:

  • Finalizing the battery charging - making sure it actually charges and holds

  • Deciding on the button setup - whether to reduce cables or go a different route

  • Script improvements that have been in progress, including:

    • Double-press for an additional vibration mode

    • Extended end-of-session vibration

    • Long press to pause

Small details but exactly the kind of details that take a product from good to right.

🎬 A Moment to Look Back

On Sunday, while working in the lab, we did something a little different.

We filmed a short evolution video — capturing all our physical models side by side, from the earliest rough versions to where we are today.

Seeing the full journey laid out in front of us was something else. The shapes, the sizes, the materials — every small decision that slowly became this product. It's easy

to forget how much ground you've covered when you're deep in the work. This was a good reminder.

And then it's straight back to it

🧪 More User Testing

We also continued our user experiments this week, running another round of testing focused on comparing the two vibration patterns with students.

Every round sharpens the product a little more and at this stage, even subtle refinements in the vibration feel make a real difference in the experience.

💡 Key Takeaways

The project is in full motion and the direction is clear:

  • Momentum is everything small wins stack up fast

  • Looking back at progress fuels the drive to keep going

  • There's still work to do, and that's exactly where we want to be

🔜 What's Next?

Printing the final croissant in TPU material, locking in the last technical decisions, and keeping the testing going. The work continues and we're here for it. 🥐
